Paper is the primary medium of my art. I have always had a great fascination with the versatility, texture and artistic potential of paper. I even enjoy the way it smells!

I have discovered an historic artform which allows me to explore inventive expression. Documented as far back as Cleopatra in Ancient Egypt, quilling utilized papyrus beyond the purposes of writing by using the medium like brush strokes on a canvas. Strips of paper are glued on the edge or coiled to form an unlimited number of shapes and designs.
